Terms of Use

Last updated: 3 November 2026

These terms are a legal agreement between you and Platform You FZC. Please read them carefully. By creating an account, ticking the box at sign-up, or using Platform You in any way (including browsing as a guest), you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Platform You.

The terms have four parts:

  • Part A applies to everyone.
  • Part B also applies to clients.
  • Part C also applies to pros.
  • Part D also applies to businesses and brands.

If parts conflict, the part written for your account type wins for you.

Part A – Rules for everyone

A1. Who we are

Platform You is run by Platform You FZC, a company licensed in the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) free zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates ("Platform You", "we", "us", "our").

These terms cover the Platform You app, the website theplatformyou.com, our social media channels, and any other service that links to these terms (together, the "Platform").

Contact: info@theplatformyou.com.

A2. Words we use

  • Client: anyone who uses the Platform to find pros, businesses or brands.
  • Pro: an independent professional or freelancer with a pro profile, on the Basic or Pro plan.
  • Business: a company with a business profile, such as a salon, gym or wellness centre.
  • Brand: a company with a brand page.
  • User: anyone who uses the Platform, including guests.
  • Services: any service, treatment, product or work that a pro, business or brand offers to clients. This does not include the Platform itself.
  • Content: anything posted on the Platform, including photos, videos, text, prices, offers and messages.

A3. What Platform You is, and what it is not

Platform You is an online discovery and advertising platform. It lets pros, businesses and brands show their work, prices and offers, and lets clients find them and contact them directly.

Platform You is not:

  • a provider of any Services. We don't provide beauty, wellness, fitness, health, medical, home or any other services;
  • an employer, agent, partner, franchisor or representative of any pro, business or brand;
  • a booking service. We don't make, manage or confirm appointments;
  • a payment service. We don't take, hold or pass on payments between users, and we take no commission;
  • a party to any agreement, appointment, payment or dispute between users.

Any agreement for Services is made directly between the client and the pro, business or brand. They alone are responsible for it.

A4. What we check, and what we don't

ID check. Pros can choose to complete an automated identity check, run by our provider Didit. The check is optional. Pros who pass it get an "ID checked" badge on their profile. Pros without the badge have not been through any identity check. An "ID checked" badge means only one thing: when the check was done, the person's ID document and selfie appeared to match, according to Didit's automated check.

The "ID checked" badge does not mean that we have checked, approved, endorsed or recommended:

  • the pro's qualifications, training, experience or skill;
  • any licence, permit, registration or insurance;
  • the pro's hygiene, products, equipment or premises;
  • the pro's background or criminal record;
  • the quality, safety or legality of their Services;
  • anything else on their profile.

ID checks are automated and can be wrong. Someone could also hand their account to another person after the check. We are not responsible if an ID check is wrong.

Everything else is self-declared. Everything on a profile is provided by the pro, business or brand, and we don't check it. That includes qualifications, services, prices, photos, offers, "Offers home visits", and claims about licences or insurance.

Featured and ranked pros. Being shown first, featured or highlighted is not a recommendation. See A9 for how search and ranking work.

The Platform doesn't show reviews or star ratings. Any testimonial, rating or review that a pro, business or brand shows on their profile, or links to, is their own claim. We haven't checked it.

A5. Health, beauty and safety disclaimer

  • Nothing on the Platform is medical, health, beauty, fitness or safety advice. Content is for general information only.
  • Many beauty, aesthetic, wellness and fitness services carry real risks. These include allergic reactions, infection, burns, scarring, injury, and results you don't expect.
  • Before-and-after photos and results shown by pros are their own claims. Your results may be different.
  • Always speak to a qualified doctor or health professional before any treatment that could affect your health. This matters especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, take medication, or have allergies.
  • If something goes wrong after a service, get medical help straight away, and report it to the pro and to the authorities where you live.

A6. Who can use Platform You

  • You must be 18 or over to create an account.
  • Guests can browse without an account.
  • You must not use the Platform if we have previously removed you, or if the law where you live doesn't allow you to.
  • You must not use the Platform if you are subject to sanctions under UAE, UN, UK, EU or US law.
  • If you use the Platform for a company, you confirm that you are allowed to agree to these terms for it.

A7. Your account

  • Confirm your email or phone with the code we send you.
  • Give true, accurate and up-to-date details.
  • One account per person. Don't share it, sell it or transfer it, and don't pretend to be someone else.
  • Use your real name or your genuine business name. Don't use a name, photo or handle that copies, or could be confused with, another person, business or brand. We may change or remove a name that breaks this rule.
  • Keep your login safe. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
  • Tell us straight away at info@theplatformyou.com if you think someone else has used your account.
  • If you use Face ID or fingerprint sign-in, that check happens on your phone. We never receive your face or fingerprint data from it. (The Didit ID check for pros is separate. See the Privacy Policy.)
  • You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Delete my account.

A8. Account types and plans

Account Price What's included
Client Free Browse, search, save pros, chat, claim offers
Pro – Basic Free Profile, up to 15 work photos, full price list, 150-character bio, in-app chat, views stat
Pro Monthly fee, shown in the app Everything in Basic, plus up to 3 live offers, highlight videos, a 300-character bio, extra contact links, full stats and featured placement
Business Monthly fee, shown in the app A business profile for salons, gyms, wellness centres and other businesses, with their team and offers. Opens after launch.
Brand Monthly fee, shown in the app A brand page with products, offers, highlight videos and collabs with pros. Opens after launch.

Features, limits and plans may change as the Platform develops. If a change removes something you've already paid for, we'll tell you first.

Business and Brand accounts open after the app launches and can't be bought before then. The "Let's collab" button may show "coming soon". It is not a promise of any service. Any feature marked "coming soon", "test" or "beta" may change, be delayed or never launch, and may not work perfectly.

A9. How search, ranking and featuring work

Search results and the Discover page are ordered using things like:

  • how closely a profile matches your search;
  • the area and category;
  • how complete and active the profile is;
  • the account type.

Pros on the paid Pro plan, and paid Business and Brand accounts, are shown before free Basic profiles and may be featured. That placement is part of what they pay for. It is not a recommendation or a sign of quality.

We may change how ranking works at any time.

A10. Rules for content and behaviour

You are responsible for everything you post and send. You must not post, send or do anything that:

  • is false, misleading, exaggerated or someone else's work;
  • is a fake, paid-for or invented review, rating, testimonial or result, or copies someone else's;
  • is defamatory, meaning it says or suggests something untrue that could damage the reputation of any person, pro, business, brand or Platform You (this includes slander, libel, fake complaints and fake reviews);
  • reveals someone's private information, such as their address, phone number or photos, without their permission;
  • is offensive, hateful, discriminatory, threatening, harassing, sexual, nude or violent;
  • offers sexual, adult or escort services of any kind, under any name;
  • is illegal, or promotes illegal services, products, drugs or weapons;
  • offers prescription-only medicines, or medical, surgical, injectable or laser treatments of any kind (for example Botox, fillers, threads, laser hair removal or laser skin treatments). These are not allowed on the Platform for now, even if you are licensed to provide them;
  • makes medical or health claims you can't prove;
  • breaks anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights, including posting photos of clients without their permission;
  • shows anyone under 18 in a way that isn't appropriate, or shows a child without their parent's or guardian's permission;
  • is spam, a scam, a pyramid scheme, or an attempt to get people's personal, login or payment details;
  • uses other users' contact details to promote other platforms, sell unrelated products, or add them to marketing lists without their permission;
  • asks people to pay through links or methods meant to deceive them;
  • harms the Platform, such as viruses, hacking, scraping, bots, fake accounts, fake views or fake claims;
  • copies, resells or misuses other users' details or content;
  • breaks any law where you or the other person are.

A11. Reports, removal and suspension

  • You can report or block any profile, offer, content or chat.
  • We may review, and at our discretion remove or hide, any content or offer, at any time. We may also limit, suspend or close any account, with or without notice. We may do this if we believe someone has broken these terms or the law, has put anyone at risk, has misled users, or could cause legal or reputational harm to Platform You or others.
  • Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you what we did and why. You can ask us to look again by emailing info@theplatformyou.com.
  • We are not obliged to monitor content, and we are not responsible for content posted by users.
  • We may share information with the police, regulators or other authorities where the law requires it, or where we believe someone is at risk.
  • Anyone, including the police and other authorities, can report content they believe is illegal by emailing info@theplatformyou.com. We deal first with reports about illegal content, risks to someone's safety, or anyone under 18.
  • We may use automated tools, as well as people, to help spot spam, scams, fake accounts and content that breaks these terms.
  • If a paid account is closed for breaking these terms, no refund is due, unless the law says otherwise.

A12. Dealings between users

Everything between users happens directly between them, at their own risk. That includes contact, agreements, appointments, payments, deposits, cancellations, services, offers and disputes.

As far as the law allows, you release Platform You and its owners, managers, staff and partners from any claims, losses and damages arising from your dealings with other users.

If you have a problem with a pro, business, brand or client, please still report it to us. We may act on the account, but we can't settle disputes or give refunds for Services.

Stay safe:

  • Never pay anyone through a link or method you don't trust.
  • Be careful paying deposits to people you don't know.
  • Meet in safe places where you can.
  • Tell someone where you're going for home visits.
  • Platform You is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (in the UAE, 999 for police or 998 for an ambulance; in the UK and Ireland, 999 or 112).

A13. Chat and contact links

Chat now opens a conversation inside the app. Pros may add optional links, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, a website or a phone number.

When you leave the app, that service's own terms apply. We can't see, control or take responsibility for those conversations.

Chats in the app are not end-to-end encrypted. We don't read private chats, except to look into a report, keep people safe, enforce these terms, or when the law requires it.

A14. Your content and our licence

You keep ownership of the Content you post. You give Platform You a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to:

  • host, store, copy, show, adapt (for example, resize or crop) and share your public Content on the Platform and our website;
  • share your public profile Content on Platform You's own channels, such as Instagram, to promote you and Platform You.

This licence ends when you delete the Content or your account. Three exceptions: posts already shared on our channels, copies we must keep by law, and backups (which are removed in time). You can ask us to take down a post shared on our channels at info@theplatformyou.com.

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you post. That includes permission from any person shown in it.

Copyright complaints: if you think something on the Platform breaks your rights, email info@theplatformyou.com with the details. We'll look into it and may remove it. We may close the accounts of people who repeatedly post content that breaks other people's rights.

If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback about the Platform, we may use them freely, without paying or crediting you.

A15. AI features

Some features may use artificial intelligence, provided through our supplier Anthropic. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. It is not professional, medical, legal or financial advice. Check anything important yourself before relying on it. Don't enter sensitive personal information into AI features.

A16. Other people's services

The Platform works with services run by other companies, such as Apple, Google, Stripe, Didit, WhatsApp and Instagram. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for them.

A17. No guarantees

We provide the Platform "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running, safe and accurate. But as far as the law allows, we make no promises that:

  • it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free;
  • any content, profile, ID check, offer or information is accurate, complete or reliable;
  • any pro, business, brand or client is who they say they are, or is licensed, qualified, insured, safe, honest or suitable;
  • you will get clients, sales, results or any particular outcome.

A18. Our liability

As far as the law allows:

  • Platform You is not responsible for, and is not liable for, any Services, offers, products, payments, deposits, appointments, injury, illness, allergic reaction, loss, damage, theft, cost or dispute arising from dealings between users, or from any Service a user provides or receives;
  • we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. This includes loss of income, profit, business, clients, data, goodwill or reputation;
  • we are not liable for anything caused by events outside our reasonable control (see A23);
  • we are not liable for any loss caused by an ID check result, a badge, how search ranks profiles, or a profile, offer or content being shown, hidden or removed;
  • we are not responsible for the accuracy of prices, currencies, offers, availability or any other details shown by pros, businesses or brands;
  • our total liability to you for all claims put together is limited to the higher of AED 100 or the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that can't legally be limited or excluded. That includes liability for fraud, and for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence. If you are a consumer living outside the UAE, nothing in these terms affects the legal rights you have where you live.

A19. If someone claims against us because of you

You agree to defend, cover and protect Platform You FZC and its owners, managers, staff and partners against any claims, losses, damages, fines, penalties, costs and expenses that arise from:

  • your use of the Platform;
  • your Content, including any claim that it is defamatory, untrue or breaks someone's rights;
  • your Services or anything you provide or receive through contact made on the Platform;
  • your breaking these terms, the law, or anyone's rights.

This includes reasonable legal fees.

A20. Ending your use

You can stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend your access as set out in A11. We may also close or change the Platform, or any part of it, at any time. If an account hasn't been used for 12 months, we may hide or delete it, after emailing you first. Sections that by their nature should continue after an account ends will continue. This includes A3, A4, A5, A12, A14, A17, A18, A19, A24 and Part C sections C7, C8 and C9.

A21. App stores

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play:

  • These terms are between you and Platform You FZC only, not Apple or Google.
  • Platform You, not Apple or Google, is responsible for the app, its support and maintenance, any product claims, and any claim that the app infringes someone's intellectual property.
  • If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple may refund the app's purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • You confirm that you are not in a country under a US government embargo, and are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • You must also follow the app store's own terms.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

A22. Our app and brand

The Platform, its design, software, name, logo and branding belong to Platform You. You must not:

  • copy, change, reverse-engineer, resell or frame them;
  • use our name or logo without written permission;
  • access the Platform in ways we haven't allowed.

A23. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. Examples include internet, hosting or supplier outages, cyber-attacks, power failures, government action, natural disasters, pandemics, war or unrest.

A24. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah.

If you have a complaint, please email info@theplatformyou.com first, and we'll try to resolve it within 30 days. If we can't, the courts of Sharjah will have exclusive jurisdiction. The exception is consumers living outside the UAE: you may also have the right to bring a claim in the courts where you live, and the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country still apply to you.

Legal costs: if you bring a claim against Platform You and it fails, or you break these terms and we have to take legal action, you agree to pay our reasonable legal fees and costs, as far as the law allows. Any claim must be brought by you personally, not as part of a group or class action, as far as the law allows. You must bring any claim within one year of the event it is about, unless the law gives you longer.

A25. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For important changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Platform after that, you accept the new terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Platform and delete your account.

A26. General

  • If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
  • If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up.
  • These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Platform.
  • We may transfer our rights and duties under these terms, for example if Platform You is sold or merged. You may not transfer yours without our written permission.
  • These terms are written in English. If they are translated, the English version wins.
  • We may send you notices in the app, by email, or by posting them on the Platform.
  • Ticking a box, tapping a button to agree, or using the Platform counts as your electronic agreement to these terms, with the same effect as a signature. We keep a record of when you agreed.
  • Nothing in these terms makes you and Platform You partners, joint venturers, employer and employee, or principal and agent.

A27. Contact

Platform You FZC, SRTIP, Sharjah, UAE · info@theplatformyou.com

Part B – Client terms

This part applies to you if you use the Platform as a client. It adds to Part A.

B1. Do your homework

You are fully responsible for choosing a pro, business or brand, and for deciding whether to use their Services. Before using anyone you find on the Platform, we strongly recommend that you:

  • check their qualifications, training and experience for the exact Service you want;
  • ask to see any licence, permit or registration their work legally needs where they work. For example, health authority approval for aesthetic or medical-type treatments, or a trade licence or freelance permit;
  • ask whether they have insurance that covers the Service;
  • look at their work, reviews elsewhere, and their reputation;
  • ask what products they use, and check those are genuine, approved and in date;
  • make sure their tools, equipment and space are clean, sterilised and hygienic, and that single-use items are new;
  • for treatments that can cause reactions (such as hair colour, lashes, brows, skin treatments and aesthetic treatments), ask for a consultation and a patch test first;
  • for aesthetic, injectable, laser or medical-type treatments, only use someone legally licensed to perform them where you are, and speak to a doctor first.

B2. Your health and safety

  • Tell the pro, before the Service, about any allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy, medication, skin conditions or recent treatments.
  • Follow any aftercare advice you are given.
  • If you have a reaction or injury, get medical help straight away.
  • Stop a Service at any time if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
  • For home visits, think about your safety. Consider having someone else at home or telling someone about the visit.

B3. Agreeing Services and paying

Agree the Service, price, timing, deposit, cancellation terms and any other details directly with the pro, business or brand, and pay them directly. Platform You is not part of that agreement, doesn't handle any payment, and can't give refunds for Services. Prices on the Platform are set by pros, businesses and brands, in the currency they choose. They may change, may not include extras or travel costs, and are only a guide until you agree the final price directly with them.

B4. Offers and claim codes

  • Offers are created and set by pros, businesses and brands, not by Platform You.
  • You can claim one code per offer. Codes are personal to you and can't be sold, swapped, copied or transferred.
  • Claiming a code doesn't guarantee an appointment, availability or the Service. Check the offer details and agree everything with the pro.
  • Offers may have their own conditions, end dates and limits. The pro may refuse an offer if you don't meet its conditions or it has ended.
  • Platform You doesn't guarantee any offer. If a pro doesn't honour a valid offer, please report it to us.
  • Codes have no cash value. We may cancel codes, or limit someone's claims, if we suspect misuse, such as fake accounts or reselling codes.

B5. Respect

Treat pros, businesses and brands with respect. Don't:

  • harass anyone, or make abusive or false reports;
  • claim offers you don't intend to use;
  • ask for services that are illegal or not appropriate.

Part C – Pro terms

This part applies to you if you have a pro profile, on any plan. It adds to Part A. You accept it with the extra tick box at pro sign-up. Where your profile is linked to a business, the business also accepts this part.

C1. You are independent

You are an independent professional running your own business. You are not an employee, worker, agent or partner of Platform You. You decide:

  • your Services, prices, hours, location, methods and clients;
  • whether to accept or refuse any client.

You are solely responsible for your own business and for everything you do for clients.

You use the Platform for your business, not as a consumer. You are responsible for your own taxes, VAT, trade licence, visa or residence status, and any social security or similar contributions. We don't deduct or pay anything for you.

You are free to use other platforms too. Nothing in these terms is exclusive.

You may turn down a client, but never for a reason that is unlawful discrimination where you work.

C2. Licences, permits and qualifications

You confirm, and keep confirming for as long as your profile is live, that:

  • you hold every licence, permit, registration, visa and approval that your work legally needs, in every country, emirate, city and area where you work or offer your Services. This includes home visits;
  • for any aesthetic, injectable, laser, skin, medical-type or health-related treatment, you hold any licence your local health authority requires. In the UAE, for example, that can mean the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DoH) or the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP). You only perform treatments your qualifications and licence legally allow;
  • you are properly trained and qualified for every Service you offer;
  • you will stop offering any Service straight away if a licence, permit or qualification it needs expires, is suspended, or is withdrawn;
  • you will not list or advertise medical, surgical, injectable or laser treatments. These are not allowed on the Platform for now (see A10), even if you are licensed.

C3. Insurance

  • You must hold any insurance the law requires for your work where you work.
  • We strongly recommend that every pro holds public liability insurance and treatment or professional indemnity insurance that covers every Service they offer, including home visits.
  • You must not say you are insured if you are not.

C4. Hygiene, products and safety

You must follow all health, safety and hygiene laws and rules that apply to your work. That includes, as a minimum:

  • cleaning, disinfecting and sterilising all tools, equipment and surfaces between every client, using approved methods;
  • using new single-use items (such as needles, blades, files and applicators) for every client, and disposing of them safely;
  • only using genuine, legally approved, correctly labelled and in-date products, stored as the manufacturer says;
  • carrying out consultations, and patch or allergy tests where industry practice or the product instructions call for them;
  • getting the client's informed consent before any treatment with risks, and keeping the records the law requires;
  • refusing a treatment if it isn't safe or suitable for that client;
  • giving clear aftercare advice;
  • keeping a safe, clean working space, including when you visit clients' homes;
  • not treating anyone under 18 unless the law allows it and a parent or guardian has given permission.

C5. Your profile, prices and advertising

  • Everything on your profile must be true, accurate and up to date. That includes your name, photos, qualifications, Services, prices, area, "Offers home visits" and contact links.
  • Only post photos and videos of your own work, and only with the permission of anyone shown in them.
  • Don't claim qualifications, licences, insurance, awards or results you don't have.
  • Follow all advertising laws and rules where you work. That includes any approval needed to advertise health, medical or aesthetic treatments, and any advertising licence or permit needed for paid promotion or influencer work.
  • Clearly mark paid promotions and brand collaborations as advertising.
  • Only show the "ID checked" badge where it appears on your Platform You profile. Don't copy it, or say that Platform You has checked, approved or recommended you.
  • You may say "Find me on Platform You" and link to your profile. Don't use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you or work with you.
  • Don't post fake reviews or testimonials, pay or reward anyone for a review, or show ratings from elsewhere as if they came from Platform You.

C6. Offers

  • Only Pro accounts can post offers, up to 3 live at a time.
  • You set each offer's details, conditions, end date and number of claim codes (between 5 and 10).
  • Offers must be real, clear, lawful and not misleading. Any "was" price must be your genuine normal price.
  • You must honour every validly claimed code, exactly as described, until the offer ends.
  • You are responsible for any taxes on what you charge.
  • We may remove any offer at any time.
  • Each offer is your own promotion to clients. You must follow the consumer protection and advertising laws for discounts and promotions where you work.

C7. Your responsibility to clients

You are solely responsible and liable for:

  • your Services and their quality, safety and results;
  • any injury, reaction, loss or damage they cause;
  • any damage to clients' homes, property or belongings, including during home visits;
  • your prices, deposits, refunds, cancellations and taxes;
  • your dealings with clients.

Platform You has no responsibility for any of this. You agree to defend, cover and protect Platform You as set out in A19, for anything arising from your Services. That includes claims from clients, regulators or authorities.

C8. Proof and checks

We may ask you, at any time, for proof of your identity, licences, permits, qualifications or insurance. If you can't provide it, or if we have concerns, we may:

  • hide or remove your profile or offers;
  • remove a badge;
  • suspend or close your account.

Asking for proof, or receiving it, does not mean we have checked or approved anything.

C9. Using clients' details

You may only use clients' details to deal with them about your Services. You must keep them safe, follow data protection laws, and never sell, share or misuse them. Don't add clients to marketing lists without their permission. Any client details you collect yourself, outside the app, are your own responsibility under data protection law, not Platform You's.

C10. Paid plans and billing

  • Pro, Business and Brand plans renew automatically every month on the date you first subscribed, until you cancel.
  • You pay through the Apple App Store (iPhone), Google Play (Android) or Stripe (website). That store's payment terms also apply, and it handles your card details. We never see them.
  • We'll remind you 3 days before each renewal.
  • Cancel any time in your App Store, Google Play or website account settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Refunds follow the rules of the store you paid through. We don't give refunds for part-months, unused features or a lack of clients, unless the law requires it.
  • Prices are shown in the app, on our website or in the app store before you pay, and may change over time. The price that applies is the one shown when you subscribe, or a new price we've told you about at least 30 days before a renewal. You can cancel before it takes effect.
  • Prices include VAT where it applies.
  • If you reverse or dispute a plan payment without good reason, we may suspend your paid features or your account until it's settled.
  • If your paid plan ends, your account moves to Basic. Your offers come off the Offers page, and extra photos and highlights are hidden, not deleted. They come back if you subscribe again.
  • We may offer free trials, discounts or other promotions. Each one has its own conditions, shown when it's offered, and we decide who is eligible. We can change or end a promotion at any time, but not for anyone who has already taken it up under its stated conditions. Promotions have no cash value, can't be transferred, and can't be combined unless we say so.
  • Paying for a plan buys features and placement on the Platform. It does not guarantee clients, views, enquiries, income or any result.

C11. Your stats

Stats such as views, saves, messages, claims and amounts you enter are provided as a guide only and may not be exact. Amounts you enter are your own records. We don't check them.

Part D – Business and Brand terms

This part applies to Business and Brand accounts once they open. It adds to Parts A and C. Where Part C talks about "you" as a pro, it also applies to the business or brand and everyone working through its account.

D1. Authority and business use

You confirm that you are allowed to act for the business or brand, and that it is properly registered and licensed where it operates. Business and Brand accounts are for business use, not consumer use.

D2. Your team

You are responsible for everyone you add to, or who works through, your account. You confirm that each of them meets Part C, including licences, qualifications, insurance and hygiene.

D3. Products

Brands are responsible for their products. That includes their safety, ingredients, labelling, approvals, claims, delivery, returns and warranties. Platform You does not sell, supply or check any products.

D4. Collaborations

Any collaboration between a brand or business and a pro is agreed directly between them. Platform You is not part of it and doesn't handle payment for it, unless we clearly agree otherwise in writing.

Both sides must:

  • follow advertising and disclosure rules, including clearly marking paid content as advertising;
  • hold any advertising or media licences their work needs.
